Massage Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage & Clinical Hypnosis

I am Joelle, a holistic health practitioner with over 10 years experience working in the areas of holistic health & wellness.

I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage in 2015, and have since received additional certifications in manual lymphatic drainage and clinical Hypnosis. I am currently a psychology student at Athabasca University with plans to complete a Masters in Counselling in the near future.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time being physically active, exploring in nature, learning, and spending time with my husband, friends and family. Some of my special interests are human design, cats, fantasy movies and books, biology, and neuroscience.

The basis of my work is to help others re-connect with themselves, their bodies and their wisdom. I value forming authentic relationships and providing a comfortable environment where others can relax and feel cared for.

Current Services:

Massage Therapy:

An integrative approach to massage therapy, these sessions focus on bringing ease and balance to the body and mind. I combine therapeutic techniques, deep tissue work, and relaxation into treatments depending on each persons unique preferences and needs. It is a time for you to go inwards, connect with your body and release any tension and stress.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a safe and gentle treatment that aids the body’s natural detoxification system. It helps the lymphatic system in the removal of excess fluid and waste products from tissues, promoting healing and reducing inflammation. A treatment involves slow and gentle pumping motions throughout the entire body. It is a very relaxing treatment that does not involve the use of deep pressure or oil.

Treatments are beneficial for:

Facial Massage Treatment

This Treatment involves deep tissue massage of the muscles of the face, head and neck accompanied by lymphatic drainage massage over the face and neck. The combination of treatments is beneficial for skin health, lymphatic system health, and reducing stress. Additionally, this treatment is highly relaxing! Please note that this treatment is not a facial and does not involve the use of skin care products, only the light use of hypoallergenic massage oil.

Hypnosis is a very common, naturally occurring state that we experience many times throughout the day. During a hypnosis session, I will help you learn how to direct this state in a meaningful and intentional way to create a valuable physical, mental, emotional, or behavioural response.

Appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes but will run between 45-60 minutes depending on the context of the session.
